Relación entre ajuste diádico y satisfacción sexual en la pareja

Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo presentar los principales indicadores de satisfacción en las relaciones de pareja, y estudiar las relaciones existentes entre la satisfacción sexual y armonía en la pareja, analizando además diferencias de sexo, edad y tiempo en la relación. Para ello, se han utilizado la Nueva Escala de Satisfacción Sexual de Štulhofera, Vesna y Brouillardc (2010) con tres dimensiones: enfoque personal, enfoque de la pareja y satisfacción sexual; y la “Escala de ajuste diádico” (EAD; Spainer, 1976), que evalúa cuatro dimensiones de la relación: consenso, cohesión, satisfacción y expresión de afecto. Los cuestionarios fueron administrados a un total de 270 sujetos con edades comprendidas entre los 19 y los 68 años que mantienen una relación de al menos un año de duración. Las conclusiones obtenidas fueron las siguientes: a mayor edad, menor satisfacción sexual y ajuste diádico; a mayor tiempo de relación, menor satisfacción sexual y ajuste diádico; a mayor ajuste diádico, mayor satisfacción sexual, y viceversa; no existen diferencias sexuales en satisfacción sexual, pero sí en ajuste diádico, donde las mujeres informan niveles más elevados.

Abstract
The present investigation has like objective to present the main indicators of satisfaction in the relations of couple, and to study the existent relations between the sexual satisfaction and harmony in the couple, analyzing in addition differences of sex, age and time in the relation. For this purpose, the New Sexual Satisfaction Scale of Štulhofera, Vesna and Brouillardc (2010) has been used with three dimensions: personal approach, couple approach and sexual satisfaction; and the «Dyadic adjustment scale» (DAS, Spainer, 1976), which evaluates four dimensions of the relationship: consensus, cohesion, satisfaction and expression of affection. The questionnaires were administered to a total of 270 subjects aged between 19 and 68 years who have a relationship of at least one year. The conclusions obtained were the following: the older, the less sexual satisfaction and dyadic adjustment; the longer the relationship, the less sexual satisfaction and dyadic adjustment; the greater dyadic adjustment, the greater sexual satisfaction, and vice versa; there are no sexual differences in sexual satisfaction, but in dyadic adjustment, where women report higher levels.
